Description:

Aerobits provides low-level ADS-B devices for integration directly on printed circuit boards. It is a convenient way to design unique devices that require access to air traffic information in their structure. We offer two technological solutions that differ in price and data processing capabilities. The SC1 (using single-core microprocessor) series is the smallest ADS-B implementation in the size of just 1 cent. Due to the low power consumption, SC1 is dedicated for installation on UAS/UAV platforms. The MC1 (using multi-core microprocessor) series is a high-performance solution with outstanding input sensitivity and the ability to process a huge amount of data. Due to the increased power consumption, it is dedicated to the creation of ground infrastructure. Regardless of the type of module, we offer the customization of the firmware, which provides a number of communication interfaces and on-demand software solutions.

TT-SC1 series are the smallest implementations of ADS-B in the OEM concept. Version "A" module size is 16.0x13.0x2.5mm, weight 1g and has power consumption 70mA at 3.3V. It gives a wide range of applications, especially directly in UAS control systems. In TT-SC1a RF terminal is internally matched to 50ohms, so it enables to use any antenna connector on target board. TT-SC1b is slightly larger than version „A” and has been equipped with an U.FL antenna connector and ESD protection on the RF line. The designer does not need to match input impedance. Antenna or suitable adapter is connected straigth to the U.FL connector.

TT-MC1 series are the fastest ADS-B and mode A/C/S implementations with dimensions 18.0x19.0x2.5mm and weight 1.5g (version „A”). Multi-core technology along with FPGA power allows you to process a huge amount of data in real time requirements. In addition, there is a possibility to connect the pulse per second signal from an external GNSS source, which allows to inclusion of time stamps, facilitating the implementation of multilateration algorithms. Version „B” is sligthly larger and is equipped with an ESD protection and U.FL antenna connector.

EVALs – for quick integration

If you want to quickly try the possibilities offered by our modules, the evaluation set is certainly a product for you. Dedicated printed circuit board contains all necessary components to run the module. All additional input/output pins and external power supply options are avaliable. In addition, together with the evaluation kit you can use our software Micro ADS-B which is described further.

This kit brings everything you need to run your MC1 module. You do not have to worry about PCB design, impedance matching and power supply issues. We took care of everything and the connection is very simple: on the one side a USB connector and on the other - an antenna connector. It is also an excellent option for those who want to familiarize themselves with the module from the software side and later use the dedicated hardware and software solutions created by Aerobits. Each set is also equipped with appropriate additional elements such as antenna, USB cable, etc.

This is one of our most affordable products for all users of drones who want to provide ADSB-IN functionality for their machines. It is based on the TIM-SC1b module and has a specially adapted antenna. Specially designed for flight controllers that support the MAVLink protocol. With a flight controller such as PixHawk2, it takes less than 5 minutes to set up the entire system. With an intended antenna, the ADSB reception range is approximately 100km, depending on weather conditions.

An excellent example of the possibility of customizing OEM modules offered by our company. The TR-1W device, which is a low-power ADS-B transceiver, is based on one of our modules with extended software. This is a high quality solution with an integrated barometric height sensor and a source of GNSS position. The transmit power in the amount of 1W allows you to reach a range of about 10km, depending on the weather conditions.

This is a high quality solution with an integrated barometric pressure sensor and a source of GNSS position. The transmit power in the amount of 1W allows you to reach a range of about 10km, depending on the weather conditions.

The TR-1F device is a low-power, dual frequency ADS-B and FLARM transceiver perfect for use with small UAS for safe integration into airspace as well as UTM/U-Space applications. This solution has integrated barometric pressure sensor and GNSS which makes it a stand alone device that only requires power source to operate. 1W transmit power allows you to reach a range of about 10km for ADS-B, depending on the weather conditions.

Application automatically detects the Aerobits devices connected to the computer, implements terminal communication in the form of AT commands, offers easy to maintain configuration window and three-dimensional view of air traffic on the world map. With the help of the this software you can also update your device in a safe way. Designed to work on all computers with Windows 7/8 / 8.1 / 10. It is possible to provide a special version for Linux platforms such as Ubuntu 18.04 and others.

Ground Infrastructure

AERO RPI is a simple in use, off the shelve solution for ADS-B, Mode A/C and S data aggregation and with the integration of GNSS technology allows you to mark frames with an accurate timestamp for multilateration purposes. Integration of POE (Power-over-Ethernet) technology allows simple operation via just one Ethernet cable and outdoor installation. Data from multiple devices can be easily send to a central server for further processing. This allows easy creation of ADS-B networks for tracking of manned and unmanned aircraft in line with U-Space/UTM philosophy.

This flagship product offers the best performance for FALRM and ADS-B on the market for a fraction of the price of the professional ground receiver stations. With added capability to send data over LTE this device only requires power supply to operate. Its predominant use case, due to very high sensitivity, is UTM and U-Space where it is required to track and position aircraft in shadowed areas. With simple integration with any UTM system, via a CSV and ASTERIX formatted data, it makes a perfect choice for urban installations.
